  29. I never realised Mourning Doves had a blotch of pink like that. It shows up so well in your photos. Funny how other doves have similar colourful but not pink markings - our Stock Dove and Turtle Dove spring to mind.

    But when we stop to really look at them, as you have done, we realize how truly gorgeous they are!

  50. Love that little pink patch in the neck - this was another of the birds I saw for first time was I was in Arizona earlier this year.
